Upgrading of Fire Alarm Systems

With Quantum Care who operate 29 Care Homes, we have fully taken on the responsibility for their Fire Prevention. We have and are still undertaking an upgrade of some of their Fire Alarm Systems which were obsolete. These now adhere to BS5839 Part 1 2017.

We have organised Full FRA’s for them and are working through the recommendations in conjunction with the local Fire Officers.
We have supplied and fitted new FD30 and FD60 doors, all fully Certified.

Installed new Fire Compartmentalisation Curtains and extensive Fire Proofing. All curtains now line up with Cross Corridor Doors below. All again fully Firas Certified.

We have surveyed the Fire Doors and are bringing them up to the required standards by ensuring the gaps are correct, all Ironmongery is to the required standard etc. All again Firas Certified.

Fire Extinguishers are maintained and replaced where necessary.
